Reverse Outlining Lunsford presentations

Main content start

Course: PWR 2

Activity length and schedule:  This activity works best as students are beginning to work on their own research presentations.
The first part is asynchronous (40 minutes or so) and the second part is synchronous (30-40 minutes), including small group work and big group recap; also, this works well as a set up to the Oral Delivery of Research Post-Rehearsal Assignment.

Activity goals: To help students analyze how Lunsford Award winning speakers presented an argument (supported by sub-arguments), arranged researched material and evidence, and executed transitions in their ODRs.

Activity Details:  See student-facing handout here.
