Research Topic Brainstorm

 

This activity follows a class discussion in which students brainstorm different topics; it asks students to submit their own ideas to Canvas and receive instructor feedback.

Activity Schedule: Week 4, when students are choosing their research topics for the rest of the class.
 
Activity details: This activity gets students thinking about potential research topics for the TIC and RBA.  They can submit their ideas in any format that is useful for them (a list, photo of brainstorming work, short reflection, etc) either by linking to a Google Doc or typing directly into the submission window in Canvas. See the student-facing handout here.
