Fall Quarter 2012 Feature: Building a Lunsford-Winning Presentation

Fall Quarter 2012 Feature: Building a Lunsford-Winning Presentation

Over the past few years, the Lunsford award presentations have been a great resource for PWR 2 instructors looking to provide their students with models for exemplary oral rhetoric and multimedia presentations.  However, some instructors have looked for a way to model the process of building an award-winning presentation; simply examining the finished products, featured on the Lunsford Award page, only shows students the end result of a quarter-long process of invention, drafting, and revision.

Below are additional materials for two Lunsford award-winning presentations, designed to be used by lecturers to help their students better understand how to build an exemplary presentation.  Please note, all materials are shared with permission of the students with the stipulation that they be available only to Stanford PWR students and lecturers. Special thanks to Donna Hunter for helping to retrieve and compile all these materials and to Sarah Pittock for her inspiration to create this resource!
