Activity title: Research Challenge Presentation

Activity brief description: This activity asks student to participate in a research workshop where each member of the classroom community will listen to each other's short presentations on each other's research ideas. Each student will be required to bring a one-page handout for their peers so that their peers can give appropriate feedback. The purpose of the activity is to give students practice with oral presentations and to take advantage of their peers' insights and ideas into developing their projects.

Course: PWR 1 or PWR 2

Activity Length & Schedule: Out-of-class preparation, in-class presentation, Weeks 6-8

Activity goals:

  1. Build research thinking

  2. Estabalish a workshop community

  3. Narrow down RBA ideas.
